Photography West Competitions

Monthly Projected Image, Print, and Projected Image

Photography West sponsors three types of competition for its members to participate in during the winter months and is open to all club members who are in good standing with their monitor commitments. A description of the competition (print or digital and monthly digial), the categories, dates (submission, etc.), and how to enter follows.

Monthly Digital Photo Program

MyKee Cornelison

This program is geared towards encouraging beginning photographers to comfortably show their photos in a group setting.  It will be open to Beginning and Advanced classes who are in good standing with their monitor commitments.  Master class photographers are welcome and encouraged to submit images on an exhibition basis.  Ribbons will only be given to the Beginning and Advanced classes.  The Monthly Digital Program is held each month during September thru April. Ribbons are awarded for achievement, however no points are awarded relative to the class.  Photos submitted will be shown as a slide show and ribbons presented at the Friday general meeting.  The Judge will provide comments on why the winning photo was selected.  See the information below that describes the rules, categories, and how to enter.
